Supporting Your Church by donating to us.

Regular Donations via the Parish Giving Scheme

The easiest way to make regular donations is via the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS).  You can choose any amount and give monthly, quarterly or annually.  If you are a UK taxpayer and agree to Gift-Aid your donation then the church will receive an extra 25% courtesy of the tax man.

The PGS does not charge us for administration so the church receives the whole amount you give. PGS is a Direct-Debit system so donors are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee given by all banks and building societies. You can find out more about the PGS on their website here.

All of our churches have PGS forms to fill in and post. Please ask your treasurer.

Alternatively, you can sign up to the PGS by telephone on 0333 002 1271.  Each church has been given a unique PGS Parish Code to make sure donations are sent to the correct church.  Please quote the code number shown below when giving your instructions.

Our churches have been part of their village communities for hundreds of years.  They have helped celebrate births and marriages and commemorated loved ones who are sadly no longer with us. We also run social events for our villages. Although our church buildings are closed we are still providing online services and pastoral care.

We can only continue to do so if we are in turn supported.  In the present Covid-19 emergency we have had to cancel fundraising events and, like many other charities, we have seen our income drastically reduced.  The Church of England has produced a short video, please take a moment to watch it here.

If you feel able to support your village church please read on.

One-off Donations

Our churches are setting up to receive online donations. If you would like to make a donation to your village church online then please click your chosen button.  Alternatively please place your donation in the collection plate or give your donation to your church Treasurer or any member of the Parochial Church Council.

Online giving

Our churches are setting up to receive online donations.  We have chosen to use Give a Little for card or online donations and Givt which is a phone app.
