Our next meeting is on Thursday 11th January 2018 when we will learning more about Epiphany.
We hope that you will be able to join us between 2 - 2.45 in St Peter's Centre for Church Mice.
Our meeting on 14th December started with looking at some of the decorations that might be found in our homes at this time of year. These included Christmas trees, candles, wreaths and candy sticks.
Using a pass the parcel we found out what happened on the first Christmas. There were some humorous moments highlighting the need for a low height stable display stand and Joshua introduced flying sheep to the scene.!
We then considered how the decorations can aid our understanding of God, eg wreaths are circular representing how God’s love goes on and on and never ends.
Activities included making a Christmas wreath telling the Christmas story and making an angel.
It was a lovely afternoon with the children making new friendships and a time for the adults to enjoy a cup of tea and mince pie.
