Taking their first Communion

Sunday, 16 December was an exciting morning at St Mary the Virgin, Little Houghton. At the 10am service Kieran, Rory and Hamish were baptised by the Revd Catherine Lomas and eight of the young people in the benefice, including Rory took their first Communion following a ten week course of study. The Church was bursting with young families and the first part of the service was planned and led by Kieran, Joey, Bryony and Sophie, four teenagers from the Benefice.
